Florida Southern College
For over 60 years, Florida Southern College has shared world-class entertainment through the Festival of Fine Arts, uniting the diverse talents of students, distinguished faculty, generous community members, and superb visiting artists and performers. Extraordinary exhibitions grace the walls of the Melvin & Burks Art Galleries along with the newest collaboration with the Polk Museum of Art at Florida Southern College. Thousands of patrons are delighted and deeply moved by the outstanding presentations in the Branscomb Auditorium, Loca Lee Buckner Theatre, and historic Annie Pfeiffer Chapel, a signature architectural element of the Frank Lloyd Wright campus. Strategic partnerships provide engaged learning opportunities with opera, ballet, and internships with award winning music and theatrical production companies. Ranked in the top 10 of the U.S. News & World Report’s “Best Colleges” guide, voted “#1 Most Beautiful” by the Princeton Review, and “one of the best and most interesting schools in the U.S.” according to the Fiske Guide to Colleges, Florida Southern College, the oldest private college in Florida, welcomes you to enjoy the many cultural offerings among a unique and splendid setting.
Due to our current limitations because of the COVID-19 pandemic, we are not offering live performances on campus this fall. However, the visual and performing arts students and faculty are busy preparing a variety of virtual offerings while adhering to guidelines to keep everyone safe. Please check the website for current updates. We hope to see you again in the spring!
