THE ELIXIR OF LOVE by GAETANO DONIZETTI

April 21 at 7:30pm and April 23 at 2:30pm

 An elegantly charming comedy, The Elixir of Love (L’Elisr d’Amore), is the story of an innocent love between a naïve Nemorino, who hopes to gain the love of Adina, the daughter of a wealthy landowner, through a love potion. Nemorino is desperate as his love for Adina seems unrequited. The love potion he hopes to use is guaranteed to be the same love potion used by Tristan on Isolde! This will help him to win Adina, he is sure of it!

Please join the Florida Southern College Opera Theatre and the Florida Southern Opera Orchestra for the telling of this tale. This opera will be sung in English.
